To upgrade from a older version of CALENDAR, simple replace CAL.EXE
In the registered versions, pressing "Fxx" will print out month xx
(if you do not have an F11 and F12 key, Shift F1 & Shift F2 will
print November and December, respectively).
Here are all the official calendar releases with revision list:
═══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════
1/01/94 v1.3 - Today's date now flashes in yellow
- Changed mailing address
- Adjusted my registration program
5/25/92 v1.2 - *Registered* versions now allow individual months
to be printed
5/14/92 v1.11 - Registered versions display "Thank-you" message,
pauses, and clears screen.
- Unregistered versions now print an unregistered
message on printouts.
- "Initializing Printer" message now appears before
a printout -- on a Postscript printer with HP
emulation, if it is in Postscript mode, it can
take awhile before a printout begins. Before,
the status line went blank, and it looked like
the program had locked-up. This now erases all
doubt of a "lock-up".
- <ALT P> now prints instead of <SPACE>; there have
been some complaints that the space bar is too
easy to hit & a calendar may be accidently
printed.
- Fixed centering on printouts (off-line slightly).
- Pressing <ESCAPE> at the end of the current year
will allow the user to enter a new year.
- Displays messages while waiting for response
on options screen.
- Fixed printer bug; on an XT & 286, my error checking
to see if the printer is on-line worked. A different
status code was returned on a 386 (I still have yet
to test it under a 486), resulting in a DOS "Write
Fault Error". Fixed.
4/17/92 v1.1 - Calendars can now be printed (through PRN device)
- Program will NOT run unless configuration file
is present.
- No bugs were fixed simply because none have been
reported.
1/16/92 v1.0 - First official release.
